Getting Married In Mexico: What You Need To Know

Before you depart for your destination wedding, be sure to familiarize yourself with the requirements for a legal marriage in Mexico:

• Current passports.
• Tourist cards (your airline will provide these).
• Your booking form.
• Certified copies of your birth certificates.
• Blood tests results (HIV, RPR, and RH). If you take these tests in the US you must do so no more that 15 days before your wedding date. You may also take these tests in Mexico. Certificates of divorce, if applicable.
• Four witnesses over the age of 18, with passports and tourist cards. (Tesoro will provide witnesses if necessary.)
The couple must arrive at the resort five days before the wedding.
